“instead of another medication, or trying this, or trying that, going through those medication trials, so that’s how I stumbled upon you. So I wouldn’t be so much in pain at 47. I didn’t want that to be my lifelong reality…

It drastically affected it, I mean, daily life if I was on my feet all day as an education consultant and trainer, I would go home with terrible, terrible leg pain and body aches that would probably last for an additional two to three days. Not helping with my sleep, I couldn’t sleep at night. If I was out with my family, I couldn’t do everything that they were doing. I would have to look at where they were going and maybe choose one thing to do with them. And wether it was one errand to the grocery store, or one trip to the mall. Most of the time, they went in and I just sat in the car. So as a result, I was loosing my family life. Getting sort of, almost depressed because the pain I was in and what I couldn’t do and what I wanted to do were at different end of the day…

Pretty much, I was on vacation as I stated earlier, and you know, they would want to go out for a walk along the beach you know, we were with friends and family and I couldn’t do that. I could stare and watch, but just getting up out of a chair and walking to the beach itself was hard. We were only maybe about three hundred yards from the sand. So that was challenging. If I went somewhere with a group, I remember going to a wine festival last year and it wasn’t a large area but they were walking around and I had to stop and sit while they continued on and do their thing. I was really impacting everything I did.

Fibromyalgia sufferers: “He’s the only doctor that ever looked at me as a whole person”.

I started in, I guess around August, maybe late July of 2010 and we started with some light therapy where we just did some, i guess, some stimulation kind of things, or vibration kind of things. And I was noticing an impact in probably within three to four weeks. And then getting the gluten sensitivity diagnosis and getting on that lifestyle change, really has just brought things around you know, and full circle. I can basically do now, any activity or numerous activities that I wanted to do before but had to question and think out. I can go away with friends and family, I can ride my bikes, go on walks, you know, for about up to thirty minutes, and really still feel good and my energy is back. I don’t feel as tired, or fatigued, or just frustrated with daily life.

Oh, much better. I’m sleeping really, really good. A good eight hours. And wake up very rested. I’m still, you know, I’m not sleeping on my side, which is bad for your posture anyway, but I can start there and then laying on my back. But yeah, I just feel so much better. I don’t feel in pain every time I move around in bed.

Fibromyalgia: 90% better in less than 6 months.

Excellent. I would say we started you know, where we saw like 10% improvement and now we’re like up to 90%. So that’s quite a significant difference. In five, not quite six months.

Yes, if it wasn’t for that broken ankle I had, right. We’d be 100% improved because I just think that it keeps affecting that leg or whatever, but I could be wrong. I would say, a good 90-95 even. There you go.

I always say to people “he’s the first doctor that ever looked at me as a whole person” and there is no other choice but to see you.

Long lasting fibromyalgia results.

Definitely. I always say, you know, what, the treatments I was getting before, for this ache or that ache, or alright, now I have fibromyalgia, OK, we’ll put you on this medicine. What insurance was paying for wasn’t doing me any good, really. I mean, maybe slightly. I don’t want to say no good at all, but there might have been slight changes. But not a lot that I would say would be consistent or long term for any means. So you can’t put a price on your health and I guess I was just to that point you know. Where do you want to be you know, when you retire, or where do you want to be in fie years. And I didn’t want to be in pain. So this was, to me, you know, a really good alternative, and now that it’s worked, I don’t feel, I definitely feel that this is the right path to choose.

Fibromyalgia ends here. If you are ready to get back to the life you want, call our office at (717) 697-0589 today and schedule your consultation with Dr. Sullivan. Don’t suffer another year with fibromyalgia!

Terri says her vertigo is “100% better”

“I’m 100% better on vertigo”

“I jumped through hoops for two years and just wasn’t satisfied with the care that I got so I just kept looking for an answer which was not involving anything invasive, no medications. So, I suffered probably since high school, fifteen plus years with dizziness. It would come and go, I didn’t have it constant until two years ago. Then that became worse as time went on, and it became debilitating. And then it was to the point that something needed to be done, I just couldn’t function any more. So after trying all other options and nothing was helping, I decided to get back on the internet and do some research and again, that’s when natural keystone health popped up…

Sick and tired of vertigo…

I’d say by mid day, I was sick, dizzy, sick to my stomach, spinning. I just couldn’t function. I pushed my self, but it was very difficult. So, I’d say by about three or four o’clock in the afternoon, I was done, but I had to make myself go on for another couple more hours. So, very challenging, very difficult. Then I’d go home and sleep twelve or fourteen hours till the next day, until my shift started again…

I couldn’t really do anything. Driving.. It got to be to the point, at the end, I couldn’t even turn my head anymore. I drove, but I should not have. I really couldn’t do activities with my daughter., or any kind of noises, any kind of stimulation, kids crying, It didn’t matter. Loud noises, dogs barking, it pretty much just shut me down. I just wanted to go in darkness and not be bothered.  After two weeks of what I say ‘physical therapy’, it was brain therapy or mind therapy, but after two years of steady suffering every day, after two weeks of therapy which was, well, started out three days a week then two days a week, but within those first couple weeks I was not spinning anymore. So I stuck with the plan…

“I’m 100% better on vertigo”

I’m pretty high functional. I can work, I’m back to full time working, I can hike, I’m ready to bike, it’s not time yet but.. I’m active in my child’s play at school right now, which I could not have done. Anything, dental work, I can go, you know, have dental work done now and not be crawling under the table, you know, banging for them to stop making noise in my head kind of stuff. So, i have, I think I’m 100% better on vertigo, balance and coordination, maybe 75%…

Yes, I think the one on one, the hands on, all of the little techniques that are used to determine what the problem is, first of all, is a huge indicator. And then once you outline that, and it was just like we went right to therapy which needed to be done. And as long as you do your homework, and stick with your plan.. I say it works. I’m living proof. Because I’m not sick anymore. So, but I do have to do my therapy every day. I don’t do it two or three times a day anymore, usually just once a day. But that’s working for me. But that probably took three months to get to that point. For me, it’s going to be lifestyle change, something that I have to do everyday, but it’s worth it. Because like I said, I’m functional, I can work, I can do anything, pretty much, I feel…

I’d tell them to go for it before they gave up, before they, you know, submitted to having surgery, or living on medications the rest of their life. Because, well a nurse but in my own professional opinion as a nurse, but also as a personal one, medication is only covering the symptom, it isnot fixing the problem. So I was just tired of dealing with treating the symptoms, so we fixed the problem. So I’m doing well!”

“If you want some answers, Dr. Sullivan’s office is the place to go”

Fibromyalgia, dizziness, migraines and more…

“they are finally getting some answers”

“Dr. Sullivan treats more than just a kink in the neck, or a hip that’s out of place. He looks more in depth into the problem through testing, blood work, kits that are sent out.. I see people that come in with ailments that they’ve had for years and years and they’ve been from this doctor to that doctor to this doctor  and they are finally trying, they are finally getting some answers, and are showing signs of improvement. A medical doctor has done everything that they could think of and she’d been in and out, up and down for years and years and now she’s finally showing some relief, some signs of improvement, her pain levels are down, she’s walking, talking, smiling, I mean, it’s nice to finally see her smile. I would say, you know, if you just have a kink in the neck, then you may be able to go to just a regular chiropractor who treats kinks in necks, but if you’ve had a problem and you’ve been here there and everywhere for, and you want some answers, Dr. Sullivan’s office is the place to go.”

“Dr. Sullivan is the first to make significant improvements”

“I was in constant pain…”

“My experience with Dr. Sullivan has been a breath of fresh air. He is the first to sit down and spend time finding out who I am, what I do, and what my physical problems were. When I first started seeing Dr. Sullivan, my physical condition was such that I was in constant pain in my neck and shoulders. My lower back would regularly lockup in pain. I had been on a downhill slide for a number of years. All the other chiropractors just slowed the slide. Dr. Sullivan is the first to make significant improvements. If you consider the time I started seeing Dr. Sullivan as 0 percent and 100 percent being the best I could be, then after just a couple of months seeing Dr. Sullivan about once a week, I am about 75 percent. Which is reason to jump for joy.”
